Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about Storvly
1 About the Platform
What is Storvly?
Storvly is a multi-vendor e-commerce platform that makes it easy for businesses and entrepreneurs in Nigeria to create beautiful online stores, list products, and accept payments — all without any technical knowledge. Each vendor gets their own dedicated storefront (e.g. yourstore.storvly.com) with a full suite of tools to manage products, orders, and customers.
Who is Storvly for?
Storvly is designed for small and medium businesses, individual entrepreneurs, fashion vendors, food sellers, electronics dealers, and anyone who wants to sell products online in Nigeria. No coding or web design skills are required.
Is Storvly free?
Storvly offers a free trial period so you can explore the platform before committing to a plan. After the trial, you choose from our Starter, Growth, or Scale subscription plans. Each plan includes different feature limits and a transaction commission rate. Visit our Pricing page for full details.
2 Getting Started
How do I sign up?
Click "Start Selling" or "Get Started" on the homepage. You'll be asked to create a vendor account with your email address and business name. Once registered, you can set up your store, upload products, and go live — usually within minutes.
How do I set up my store?
After signing up, your vendor dashboard guides you through: choosing a store theme, adding your business details, uploading products, and configuring your payment settings. Your store goes live at yourbrand.storvly.com as soon as you publish it.
Can I use my own domain name?
Custom domain support is available on higher-tier plans. By default, your store runs on a Storvly subdomain (yourbrand.storvly.com). Check our Pricing page to see which plan includes custom domains.
3 Payments
How do payments work on Storvly?
All payments are processed securely through Paystack, Nigeria's leading payment gateway. Buyers can pay via debit card, bank transfer, or USSD. Paystack handles encryption and fraud prevention, so your customers' payment details are always secure.
How do vendors get paid?
After a successful sale, funds are settled directly to your registered Nigerian bank account via Paystack. The standard settlement timeline is T+1 or T+2 business days (next-day or two-day settlement), depending on the time the transaction was completed. You can track all your payouts in your vendor dashboard under Wallet & Payouts.
What commission does Storvly charge?
Storvly charges a small platform commission on each transaction. The exact rate depends on your subscription plan — higher-tier plans have lower commission rates. Full details are on our Pricing page. Paystack also charges their standard processing fee separately.
How do refunds work?
Refund policies are set by individual vendors in their store settings. If you are a buyer with a refund request, contact the vendor directly through the store's contact page. If you cannot reach the vendor, contact Storvly support at support@storvly.com and we will assist.
4 Account & Security
I forgot my password — how do I reset it?
Click "Forgot Password" on the login page. Enter your registered email address and we will send you a password reset link within a few minutes. Check your spam folder if it doesn't arrive.
Why am I receiving OTP messages?
One-Time Passwords (OTPs) are sent to verify your identity during login or sensitive account actions. They expire quickly and should never be shared with anyone, including Storvly staff. If you did not request an OTP, change your password immediately and contact support@storvly.com.
How do I delete my account?
To request account deletion, email us at support@storvly.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request". We will process your request within 7 business days. Please note that deleting your account is permanent and will remove your store and all associated data.
